Off Line For A while
 

Will be going off line for an undetermined time as of tomorrow. Seems that my new computer will not get with the program and read it's job description. Namely "Find the flippin net". The old one is barely working and extremely outdated with ancient software. Maybe I should find a smart teenager who grew up with these things.

New computer?

XP or Vista? Wireless or wired?

If you haven't .... update your drivers through windows update. Thats usually the culprit on XP.

WOW, I did it. Actually got this thing working all by my lonesome. Pretty good for an old guy who really does hate trying to figure out how computers work. Must be my caveman mentality. Not to intuitive with things(except for a rock or a stick).

Brand spanking new in a big box from Wally World. Nice ACCER package.
19 inch LCD monitor
Dual core processor whatever that means
3 GB memory
320 GB hard drive
wireless again but a lot less goofing around than the old one
stuff I never figure out or use

All in all a pretty nice system so I am told.
