Will a 2002 tank fit a 2001 bike?
 

I have a GZ 2001 250 and would like to replace the tank. Will a 2002 tank from a GZ250 fit? Both are suzukis of course.

I am trying to figure out if a tank from a 2002 model will fit my 2001.

The difference is that they are NOT both 2002 models. The K-number is the model year; K2=2002, K3=2003. Not that it makes much difference though as any changes are pretty much either cosmetic or not significant operationally.

Yes the tank will fit. If there is any difference at all, it might have different decals or paint stripes.
