Saw two GZ250s in Seal beach today
We were driving down Main Street and there they were, parked at the curb near the Lahaina Broiler. A black one and a silver one. They were there later after we'd walked around a bit so I went over to check them out and their owners, two nice female riders, happened to show up about the same time. Talked about our bikes for a minute or two and wished them a safe ride back to Lakewood. First GZs I've seen on the street since I got mine.

I was talking to a guy at the zuki shop (the parts guy) and we were discussing how much more sense it would make if Suzuki made the GZ with a belt drive, it would be less maintenance (which is a big selling point for the GZ anyways), and with the low power low torque GZ, the belt would probably outlast the bike.

On my road trip, I stopped at a Suzuki dealer in Aurora Indiana, and they had 250cc Maurauder that was belt drive. It was also smaller looking like the rebel. It was used with a little over 1000 miles on it. There was only one guy working the floor so I never got a chance to ask him any questions.
