I finally broke down and purchased a cheap camera.

This is also my home made seat. I tried to keep it level front to back as possible.

The tail bag is a walmart nylon tackle box. It has several pouches, and it was cheap.

You may have told us before.......what's the longest ride you've been on since "fixing" your seat?

I rode from Terre Haute, IN to Evansville, IN and back last Friday 257 miles. Seat performed very well, not one butt cramp, and no stiffness or soreness.

That's good news and bad news. It means that there probably IS hope.......but I went in the entirely wrong direction and am out $130.

Looks like rusty and I are on the same track with our seat mods. There is hope for all GZ riders with sore butt syndrome

I put together several combinations of padding until I found the right fit for me. I just duct taped the paddings together sat on them, rode on them. Then come back try something different. The seat doesn't look professional, but my butt doesn't know it.
