New to the forum and GZ250'S but not to motorcycles.
 

I'll be picking up my 2006 GZ250 on Saturday. Im getting older and don't feel comfortable on bigger bikes anymore so I started looking at Rebel, Virago and GZ250 In my opinion the GZ250 looks the best. I've owned a Honda 750 Shadow, GL500 Silverwing Interstate, and Kawasaki KZ440. I'm 60 years old and not ready to give up riding and I think the GZ250 will give me a few more years. I love this forum and enjoy all the posts. :2tup:

Thanks for the warm welcome, I picked up the bike this morning but only got to ride it a few miles before it started to rain. I'm off this whole week and hope to make up for lost time.

I travel along the Indiana section along the Ohio quite a bit. I don't often cross the state line though.

My wife writes about the small towns in Indiana so I'm usually limited to the great Hoosier State!

soon Ill be posting my 2000 gz250 here for all of you to see as I said before she is in mint new condition with almost 80k on her & no rust at all. Hope you all like her tks for reading my post

I dont ride her in the rain or bad weather its sad that some riders dont care about there bike otherwise they would not say unfriendly things about them

I rode mine for over 45000 KM & got caught in the rain more than a few times.As you can tell from my avatar,I take VERY good care of my bikes.

Mine has about 6k and already has rust because its something I use an enjoy, not just a showpiece for my garage. If your gonna treat your bike like a trophy you better switch to one of those HD forums. I'm sure they'd understand you very well.

I am really enjoying my 2006 GZ250. I've changed the oil added a windshield, radio, saddlebags and tachometer. Oh, and have ridden it over 500 miles. I enjoy this forum and the ideas and pics. Keep up the good work.
