I'm not tied to the "click", but I am a fan of being able to tear literally anything apart and fix it. If I could find a way to do away with the CDI I'd be doing that as well. I long for the days when a handful of wrenches could get you through any road side scenario.

I'm not one of those "doomsday preppers" but I would love to replace everything electronic in my life with something mechanical and therefore repairable.
