5th_bike, how do you mount it and connect it, that it shows the revs? Is it accurate? I'm really fun of these kind of gadgets...

red wire to +12VDC at the horn (the green/yellow wire=+12VDC)
black wire to ground (0VDC)
green wire to the ignition, low voltage side. It's under the tank and I put it there more than 3 years ago, I think it was a white wire that it connects to - not to the spark plug cable.

It has two more wires, attached to a little light bulb that goes in a hole in the bottom, but I did not mount those because at night I don't want to look at it anyway.
