In England, nobody shovels snow anymore. If someone slips in the snow it's an "act of god", But if someone slips in an area that you've shovelled, it's your fault, & you get sued. :cry:

Wow, sued for trying to help, why does that not surprise me? Thankfully, I live in a pretty old school type of neighborhood, the people around here actually help each other out and take care of one another. We mow yards and rake leaves for older neighbors that need help, my neighbors have come and helped me re-roof my house and I've done the same for some of them. We help each other with car repairs, home maintenance, taking kids to school and ballgames, visit each other in the hospital and get together for grilling out and home made ice cream in the Summer months. I've lived in more expensive neighborhoods but I wouldn't trade the neighbors I have here for any upscale house. The schools are good, the taxes are relatively low and the cops will actually stop and talk to you when you are out working in the yard. I may not have a lot of money, but I think there are some things money just can't buy.

Florida right now is the only state out of the 50 with no snow on the ground. Every other state, including Hawaii, has snow right now.
It's still cold, 40's at the moment, low 20's at night here in the Panhandle on the Gulf of Mexico.

mrlmd1, wow, it just isn't supposed to get that cold in Florida. Hope you warm up soon, us too for that matter.
