I took everything off when I painted it. I had to pretty much strip the take because the stock stickers are clear coated on the tank. I just cut the rear fender and made a bracket to hold the brake light. |
Re: Mine tranformed
Looks Great!
How does it sound with the Harley Muff? |
Re: Mine tranformed
Main Jet? What's that?

Re: Mine tranformed
NICE LOOK,Ur talented! good to know about the pipes -i'm in FLA like MRLMD1, so rust is an issue.

Re: Mine tranformed
It sounds great with the Harley Muffler, lounder than stock but not annoying.
The main jet is in the carb for fuel metering. |
Re: Mine tranformed
If you have the info - What are the dimensions on the bar or what is the make / model? I'm interested in replacing the stock bar with something lower, but don't want to adversely affect the comfort. How do you like the new riding position, or is this merely about aesthetics?

Re: Mine tranformed
There are the bars that I got http://moto-madness.com/catalog/index.p ... cts_id=316
The riding position is a lot better for me, not so squished. |
Re: Mine tranformed
Wow, gorgeous! I knew these bikes had a lot of potential! I have been thinking of ways to modify the aesthetics and this is similar to what i would do. l love it! Aggressive/contemporary yet classic styling. Job very well done!!
