Hi All, thanks for the nice website. It has a lot of information, so it will take a while to digest everything.
Downloadable manual is just awesome.
Its been a month since i got my new ride 2001 GZ250 it had about 7300 miles on it.
Im loving it. Will be visiting this site more often. Im trying to get some accessories(saddle bracket) but they are quite expensive. So looking around.
Thanks again for all the information. Will post the pictures soon.

Welcome, I'm new here too, and I got my GZ250 (99) about three weeks ago. I don't care how cold it gets, as long as there is no ice on the road I'm riding. This is my first bike and I'm loveing it. Once again welcome.

Welcome.
I ride year round. So far the only weather that keeps me for riding is rain and i'm working on that.
Lucky you Bob, im stuck up north with the snow this winter. I *used* to like snow....

Hi everyone
Do you all do the maintenance by yourself or give the bike for dealer service. Im in Los angeles and the dealer charges about $250 for the service. I bought this bike for $1600. So I feel the dealer service is expensive. They said I may need to change spurge plugs, air filter, oil change, oil filter, carb cleaning. Im new to this. By the use of manual I can do some of the work. Can I get some suggestions on this. Thanks again.
Spark plugs, air filter, oil change and oil filter can be done yourself very easily. The manuals you have downloaded from here should help you complete those tasks in about an hour.
Carb cleaning, atleast on my rides ... i would leave that to the dealer. But thats just me.
