I just rode her home yesterday afternoon in Southern California rush hour traffic. Had to cruise Pacific Coast Highway at least for a few miles. 2006 with 1611 miles (1646 miles now).

You know what? The guy advertised it as a 2006. Today I took the pink slip down to the Auto Club to do the transfer and I actually looked at the date. HE bought it in 2006, but it was first SOLD in 2003. It's still like a brand new bike, but I don't feel so bad now about talking him down $275.

Great find for an '03 - especially with the low mileage.

Thanks all. I think it was an honest oversight on the seller's part. He was a great guy. When I say I talked him down, I didn't really do much talking. He was pretty keen on selling it and had gotten a couple of lower offers. I think it was a good deal for both of us.
