FIRST, I WANT TO SAY HELLO AND GREETINGS TO ALL ON THIS SITE!
I am new here and just started on this GZ250 forum. I posted messages on topics and introduced myself and by the help of 5th_bike
he told me to post new instead of reply to post. Thank you! I never been on a forum like this before and to be honest, this is gonna be my very first! as you can see i am so excited. I was encouraged by my bf to join this site so i get to learn and get information about the GZ250 specially now that he bought me one as a gift. Its a green 1999 GZ250 very low mileage (1765)on it and bought it less than $1500
 to much information! Sorry,i'm just too excited i guess or overwhelmed
Geez,i hope he won't checked this site and read all what i've been yakkin' up here,he he he...i'm so busted! He was asking me if i posted my picture on the bike,i told him nope! I will, soon!
All i can say is Thank you and this site :rawk:
:2tup: Drive safe....

Hi Little Thumper. Good pics of the bike. Last year I saw a green 99 up close and personal. Awesome color in the sunshine with the pinstripes to set it off.

Aha, I already thought so, asian + nurse + in USA + friendly = from Philippines !
Last year at my annual physical (for work) there was a nurse from the Philippines, she was an angel, I got such a great smile and a 'thank you' from her when I said 'Magandang umaga' !
Well again good luck with the class, I don't know if you ridden a motorcycle before but the "figures eight in the box" are the hardest. When you almost fall over, with the clutch squeezed in, give a little gas and have the clutch grip a bit, then the bike will pull up again.
And please let us know how the class went, thank you.
Then, on your bike, when I was new here someone wrote that when you get a bike with older tires, check then carefuly for cracks and replace them if the walls are cracked. But your bf probably knows everything about bikes and no doubt he will help you to get the bike ready for the road !
