Hi everybody, this is my first bike and it's been great for me so far. I've done all the customizing myself and I've been loving it. Here's a few bits of info about it:

The tank is bare metal; I stripped the paint and just keeping it oiled now.

I dented the tank to receive the flat handle bars, just cause I liked them so much, but I still wanted to turn the bars all the way.

I fastened the stock tail light to the seat lock under the seat; it's rubbed on the tire a little, but not too bad.

I cut the housing for the rear turn signals in half, drilled a hole and slid them on the back of the rear axle adjustment screws.

Exhaust wrap, cause it's cool (and it sounds a little better too)

86'ed the fenders and chopped the frame (cause who needs those emiright)

A problem that I'm having is that when I get to 55mph I'm getting an up/down shake out of the front end. Guys at the bike shop told me to replace the fork oil, do you guys think that's it?

I think I would take a hard look at the front tire/rim & have the balance checked. :)

Welcome to the forum. I would think the wheel is out of balance as well. If it was fork oil issue you would have it at lower speeds too.

Welcome Tintin. Interesting and really a naked look. But you may be put off with the rear signals down there. The bulbs will likely be short lived because of road shock and vibration. Check them before and after every ride to be safe.

Thanks for the insight guys, I forgot to list also that I had a new front tire put on, and they said they checked the wheel, but I guess I'm not sure if they did it right.
Thanks Water Warrior for the heads up about the lights, I'll be sure to keep a close eye on them; I was also thinking about converting to led, so maybe that'll help.

Keep in mind that all LEDs are not created equal. A few years ago I tried LEDs in my Vstrom signals and they weren't real good. A light housing that is designed for LEDs is your best bet.
