Did you leave petcock on "Pri"......Oil & filter will need to be changed before starting.....Also check air filter to see if it is soaked with fuel....Will also need replacing.Oh also.......Welcome!!! :)

Yes, either the gas valve was left in PRI or the vacuum valve in the petcock is leaking through. As stated change the oil and drain the airbox (plug on hose at the bottom. I have done this myself, it is easy to forget after starting in prime.
