First off, thanks to those who replied to my newbie post awhile back when I was having trouble with lights, idle speed, starting, etc. Turns out I got a bad battery but replacing that solved most of the issues. Still have a bit of a hang idle but not too bad. I've been riding non-stop ever since and I'm really enjoying this bike. I gave her a decent bath today (not showroom quality or anything) and thought I'd post a few pics. Any thoughts on gas grade? A buddy told me to use non-ethanol or at least high grade...what do y'all put in yours?

What does your friend ride? Most bikes are designed and built for 87 octane gas. Don't waste your money on a higher octane, it won't make the bike work any better. You have to realize the GZ and other bikes similar to it are 3rd world bikes and will run on very poor grades of gas.
Your best bet is to buy from a major producer and stay away from mom an pop refineries that may not have all the proper additives. Better gas will contain Techron or something similar that keeps things clean.
Oh yeah, the clean bike look is good. Now go ride the wheels off.

the bike is signed for 87 octane and will run fine with 10% ethanol
On the USA 10% ethanol is standard on all beans of gas

Just don't forget to add a carb cleaner to every three or four fillups. The GZ carb will thank you for it. Folks on here will tell you which brand to buy in America.
