View Full Version : Turn signals switch
Have about 8,000 mileage; the turn signals switch is somewhat arthritic... feels like sandpaper moving from a turn signaled back to "rest" position in both directions.
Should I be lubricating or otherwise attending to this item?
Thanks for your help

Why not try blasting some aerosol contact cleaner into the swich. It's cheap enough, and if it doesn't work you've lost nothing. :)
Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

I just got my 2005 gz250 and the turn signal switch was rough. I opened it up and used some steel wool on the metal components that touch to remove a small amount of corrosion and overall make everything smooth. This fixed my turn signal switch being rough/difficult to move back and forth and now it works great.
