How many miles do you put on your bike per year?

I've had my bike (2008 gz) for one year now and have put on 1800 miles-granted I only have a one mile commute to work and back but I ride as long as the season permits-just wondered how many miles an average gz owner puts on per year-thanks

You need to take longer weekend rides ;)

I'd say 4,000 miles per year would be a little more inline with the national average (4,000-8,000)

2003 I got in 2005, right at 1000 per year. I do have three other bikes I ride also.

I put about 3,800 miles on mine since I got it last fall.
8,800 miles on odometer. I found that the gas money I save VS my 32mpg car pays for my insurance and a little more. At $3.50 average a gallon here that's over $200
Where I live now the gas is $3.259/gal no membership needed and next up is $3.31/gal
