Hi
There is a Gz-250 motor bike

The gearshift is not working properly
Cold may be perfectly all right to convert.
But if the engine is warming up 1-2, 2-1, 1-0 shift is hardly possible, try several times you can flip through, do not be pushed into gear. as if it would stretch.

What could be the reason.n.

What condition is your oil in? The engine and transmission use the same oil. New oil helps a lot with shifting.

Do you hear any grinding noises while riding or trying to shift into gear?

Do not force the shift, as this could cause more damage if something is wrong internally.

The best way to know is to drain the oil and inspect for metal debris.

The old oil but few km's in it.

I will let down the oil.

no sound in the gear

simply can not be pushed or pulled through the shift arm to change.

While you are working, inspect the shift linkage itself. Maybe it's possible that the linkage has been damaged or bent?

Have you tried lubricating the shift arm (under the rubber covers)?

Great idea. Just shoot a little chain lube in the rubber booties. It worked wonders on one of my bikes so I just added that to the To Do List every oil change.
