Howdy Folks, I just got my M1 a short time ago and now I am trying to get insurance
for my bike. (So I can get the plate for it) Must places are quoting me between
$1200 - $1450 for a year [without a course] and a few told me if I took the course
that the price would drop by $300 - $450. What I am wondering how does that
work, if I got the higher price insurance then in 60 - 75 days I take the course
would my insurance drop after that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :???: :hmm: :???: :hmm: :???: :hmm: :???:
P.S. = I live in Ontario, Canada

Insurance costs in most parts of the GWN are beyond reason. That is one of the reasons I bought an old used bike. Anything over 25 years of age in stock condition can be insured as a classic in B.C. which is 20% of a newer bike insurance rate.

I only pay 13 bucks a month through State Farm,what could you possibly do to get quoted 100+ a month? Seems way too high

In Canada it is a punishment for not riding a bus. :lmao: My 2007 Ranger is over $100 a month with a 40% discount for a clean driving record and not driving to work every day.

God,they'd probably try to euthanize me if I ever attempted to insure my ride up there.

Just be glad you don't live Down Under. From what I've read the price is even worse than the GWN.
