Dam snow. Woke up today to the sound of snow plows going by. At least I didn't have any errands to run or shovelling to do.

Sorry about all the snow you all have. Send some of it down here. We don't get to see much powder around here. This is a pic of how the weather was here last Sunday . Just remember spring is around the corner.;):ride:

Looks like it might be about the same as we had a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to try to enjoy it as much as last time . I think we will be alright as long as the power does not go out.

Weather in Texas has just been silly. It's snowed a few times (and even stuck! Which is crazy to me as a Portlandian. It snows in Portland every year, I feel like it only stuck 1 out of 20 times), but then it gets up into the 60s (or even the 80's a couple weeks back!) every once in while.

Whenever it's dry and above say, 45 or so, the bikers of town have been all over the roads. I'm jealous.

It was -14 yesterday morning (without the windchill)

I'm thrilled today, by noon we should be at 0 degrees. HAHA

There is hope in site though, forecast is calling for 50 degrees next Thursday. Whatever you do don't drive by my place, I may be naked in my yard basking in the sun!

Well the power went out early yesterday afternoon. Finally got power back today around 6pm. It was no major problem, we had plenty of supplies to last a week. stayed warm with plenty of comforters. we mainly had a build up of ice in my area knocking down trees and power lines . All is good now, ice is about melted away.

Windchill makes a huge difference. Yesterday morning it was 32 degrees, but the "feels like" was 23. I wore two layers of pants, a warm coat, and shoes. This morning it was 34, feels like 34. I wore a long sleeved shirt, one layer of pants and flip flops. 'course it got up to 60-something today which felt damn warm.

Glad you got your power back and are de-icing, Grasshopper.

After watching the world news and disasters I am starting to think somebody has figured out how to control the weather to detriment of mankind.

Its supposed to hit 50 next week!!!! WooHoo!!!

Just pray the snow doesn't melt too fast and cause flooding.
