Looks good, I'm also a fan of the tank.
Where did you get the seat?

Thanks! Its a sportster tank i got raw on ebay for about $85, it holds around 2.5 gallons, the front fairing i got off craigslist, he just said it was on his harley. And i got lucky with the seat and got it for 35 on ebay.
She still needs a lot of work but im excited to finally see progress. One of my biggest challenges is getting propper springs and find a way to mount then right
Thanks for the feedback!

I've been trying to build a seat for my bike and the springs was a real pain. I went through several different sizes before I found anything that actually worked.
If you have a good bike shop it you might have better luck finding an appropriate selection.

just an idea. has any thought about checking one of these seats to see if they might be modified to work for your bobber projects?

I would imagine you could put some mounting bolts thru the center of the flat plate in the back and turn the bar mount so that you could use it as a mounting point as well.
It would at least be a great starting point.
