So here is my problem. When I go to turn my bike on, she won't start. I have power coming from the battery. All lights are working. I'm able to start the bike by shorting the solenoid. So I assumed it was the solenoid that was dead. I just replaced it and the bike is still dead. But I know it's not the starter, it's not the battery, it's not the solenoid...WTF is it???

Starter button isn't making contact in the control housing. This is actually kind of common.
Clean the contact switch and use some electrical cleaner or even some electrical contact gel to assure a solid contact.

On mine it was the clutch switch. Get some aerosol contact cleaner, and blast it into the starter switch, red killswitch and clutch contact. More often than not, it's the red killswitch.

Thanks a bunch guys. I will try that after work. I'm pretty sure the red kill switch is working because I can shut the bike off using that. Likewise, I can kill the bike with the kick stand. Ugh, I just hate having to short the solenoid every time I get on it. And she's my daily commuter.

Clutch switch or starter switch. Try jiggling the clutch switch a bit. It may not be making contact. Contact cleaner is your friend.

Haha, You guys are the best!!!! It was in fact the clutch switch!!! Little bit of contact cleaner did the trick and saved me a trip to the mechanics. Thanks again.
