Owner of a 2009 with 15k....what's your status?

I bought my 2008 in 2010 with 2100 miles on it and from a dealer. Haven't had any major issues other than battery and valve adjustment. Sprocket change, regular oil changes, no fast take offs, I do not clutch hard, pretty regular with lubing the chain, I do my best to downshift in tune with the rpm's.....

What's your style of riding, current ownership status/mileage and your life expectations of this bike???

I guess I could be asking alot....but I'm interested actually in the how you ride and life expectancy of this little beater.....

Got 14K +on mine, only problem was battery, do mixed driving, but most recently doing more highway driving along the coast of California. Replaced front and rear tires, in need of new year soon and believe brake pads front and rear will need replacement when I replace tire. Front pads needed replacing at 6K. Had valves checked at 6K, mechanic said as long as I don't ride aggressively don't worry till 20K. Have your valves needed adjustment? I ride like a 64 year old, but have to push on highways with speed limits of 60-65.

Bike runs like it was new! Just love it, have a 2009 Triumph Bonne Black with 15,700 miles, love it too. A highway star, 54MPG, while the GZ gets 75MPG, love the fuel injection of the Bonne, just start and go!

Got one at 6K in July 2012 and less than a 1000 miles later total engine failure and needs a new one.

Bought mine in September 07 with 1200 KM on her.Sold her July 2010 with 47000 Km on her.Never gave me any major problems,still running today.
