I've just bought my motorcycle GZ250 from 2004.
I come from Poland in Europe and know I'm in Canada and I'm working here.
I hope that your knowledge help me with my problems and we would meet on some great common riding around town.

I'd like to ask a question. Do you have some ideas which may tune up/customize GZ250 into more mature bike, bigger, harley-davidson like or bobber style?

Welcome to the GZ forum. Always glad to have a new member join up. Please don't get in a hurry to change the bike. Learn it's capabilities first and then make a decision about modifications. The GZ is what it is, no more, no less. You may not like it in the long run and an altered bike might be harder to sell if you decide on a bigger, more powerful bike.

Thanks for the replies guys. But you know - the best modification I would like to make is to make tail fender short. I was thinking about cut this plastic fender but there are metal parts underneath it. So do you have any ideas?

The metal parts are the fender supports that can be cut off. Just remember there is no going back when you start cutting parts off.

Yeah true, but I would like to make some modification to it, to make the tail side looks shorter.
Do you have any ideas guys?
Is there a shop or in the internet where I can find new / different shorter tail fenders for my bike?

My advice, take the leap and cut it. Draw some designs out, get a grease pencil and do it on your fender to get an idea of what it'll look like an just do it. Chop down the bars so you can use them or fab up some custom brackets and fit it that way. There really is little you can do to these bikes that is absolutely wrong. Chopping the bars off will not hurt the strength of the frame, and if you can weld then you can reinstall the bars if you hate it.

Worst case scenario you cut it up and you hate it. Fenders for these bikes are cheap, especially compared to some of those bigger bikes you were talking about at the top of this thread.

I encourage everyone I talk to, make your bike your own. Don't be an HD douche and try to look like everyone else. Be yourself and let your bike reflect that.

Yup, that is an idea, but you know I don't have access to any tools, so I would like to buy some custom rear fender. Is it possible?

Go out and buy a Dremel with a few heads, that's what I had to start with. I was able to cut off the bars, I can cut my fender with it. buying a couple tools is a much better investment than buying a fender.

It's hard to me, cause I haven't got a lot of money.
When I would cut the fender, how I attach it? Or how I "disable" the curves of plastic? I hope that you understand me.

I hope that I would not need a new seat?

And still please give me some websites or shops when I can buy custom fender to my bike

So please tell me - what is the safest, cheapest and fastest way to cut the fender to make it look great? I'd like to cut it a little bit but what with the sharp edges at the end? What with the light and indicators?

To e honest your just gonna have to get creative. I would use a dremel with a carbide blade. Cut your shape the. Sand down the rough edges a bit.

As far as lighting goes you can either use the same lights just figure out a way to attach them to the same fender or you can move them where ever you please. The wiring is incredibly simple so the possibilities are limited only by what you want to do.
