it happened to me, never heard on this forum. the sight glass (plastic) on my master cylinder (holds brake fluid for front disc brake) got fragile and once when I was cleaning, it broke. obviously the fluid leaks. the new costs about $120 so went for a cheap repair. its costs $5 (JB Weld) and a dime or a penny. it works great. if it is not leaking the brake fluid never goes low, now you cannot see so once in a while check manually by removing the cover.

unfortunately the dime and penny are bigger than the hole so they do not go inside and have to be placed on the hole.

I did the same once with a nickle and some stuff called QuickSteel. It worked great. Never a problem and lasted more than a year before I sold the bike to the new owner, who I am still in contact with on occasion and has never mentioned any problems.

speaking for myself if i did that,it would bother me after about a week just looking at it I have a master cyclinder that I am going to replace later on with a new one that in in good condition all most like new & caliper

ok I guess you are woundering why I replace good parts to you It sounds crazy but if it has a scrach on it I replace it. I had suzukis since 69 I had a x6 hustler & when it got
damaged & told me it was not worth repairing it I ler it go but now I have a 2000 gz250
and never again she will not get scratch again 80 k on her, waiting to get 999,900miles
than it will be a write up & photos in suzuki news. When I park her outside she gets coverd
from the sun the color of her is some what of green its the last one that has pin stripping
with clear coating over it by the way she gets new oil every two miles & filter every
400 miles well thats all for now more to come have fun riding

Sounds like you've got too much money and not much sense.

Hang on a minute....a thought just struck me......... mrgz250 has only been a member for three days, and already he's causing problems. Is he a genuine GZ owner, or just a troll?

And a few articles in medical journals too.

If so, they would certainly be unique!
If he really changes oil every two miles,
he'd probably be in favor of heart transplants for healthy 10 year olds!
