hi, my choke lever broke. I was able to start the bike by manually holding the cable. I'm in search of a replacement-apparently I may have to change the whole left sided housing-the lever comes with the housing, $100 unfortunately.

how hard is it to change the housing? will have I have to mess with the clutch and electrial stuff. I think changing the choke lever is easy but I'm not sure about the rest. will I have to remove the grip?

thanks in advance.

You dont have to remove the grip, the clutch housing opens around the handle bar and closes around the bar and you can tighten it.

choke lever comes separate as one piece and you can remove the old one and install the new one by removing the bolt that is on the black housing. same for the brake lever, in case someone has to replace that. may not be very cheap but not $100 as original Suzuki parts are expensive.
