Ok, I have the Suzuki 16T sprocket and installed it today. Very happy, does just what ever one says. My question, what size goes towards the motor ??? The OEM looks different besides the rubber. The 16T, on the "number side" had a 1/2 inch flat collar that looks like it went towards the motor so thats what I did. Is this correct ?? does it matter ?? Thanks in advance JIM

I'm going to have to go back through my old photo archives and update the how-to with working photos again.

I don't remember specifically, so I can't correctly answer your question. If the photos were working, they would resolve any questions. But It seemed that I did whatever was logical at the time. If it looked like it was supposed to go on the inside, you probably did it right.

IIRC if you put the sprocket on backwards than the chain will not run straight.
 :)

OK do you know which way is right. when I checked the sprocket sat the same distance from the motor both ways. I really want to get it right before I put any miles on it to prevent any problems.

Thanks in advance

If it's the same distance than it won't make any difference.

No. I made an archive photo account at one point for the entire site and it was dismantled because of disuse... I'm still pouring through my old personal photos. I'll come across them soon. Never fear. Blaine is right though. There should be only one way that works. If it's the same both ways, then you have nothing to worry about.
