A handful of our boys and girls were in Sandy's path and I'd like to get a check-in from them here when possible.

I realize that a forum is the least of your worries when the world around you was washed away and civilization is made primitive again.
When possible, just let us know how you are. Not really caring about the bike at this point. If you need help, reach out.

Im safe, doing cleanup duties in Queens NY. It was bad here but worse 5-10-15-20 miles from where i live. I feel so bad for the lives lost, and the ones that lost homes, cars etc. Unbelievable. Glad youre ok jonathan.

The Northeast is expecting another storm next week - a Northeaster, with 2-3 inches of rain, possible snow, 30-45 mph winds, to add insult to injury up there.

OK Lads, Up here in the mts of NY we had very little rain and just a few wind gusts. We dodged the bullet again. However with the threat of whats approaching this mid week I will have the snow blower ready to go. Like you guys down in Fla we are pretty much always prepared for the worst. Lots of firewood for the stoves, Food in the pantry ,Generator and gas for the well and lights snow blower and plow at the ready. Let er come.

Lost power for a day up here in southern NH, lot of wind, and rain (but no serious flooding). We feared ok compared to Jersey and NYC !!

Good to hear from you that have responded. (Jomama, Rook, Oakies and Clam)
I would have added other members, but I tried to stick to the areas that I knew were closer to impact.

Oakies, didn't realize you were further up. Either way, glad you and yours are all good. If Tonawanda is good, then that also clears a couple of other members. I'll have to double check which ones though.

We lost power for two days, further east between Baltimore and DC about half of the people were out of power for shorter or longer periods. No other storm damage.
