Thanks guys! I love my phone it takes great pics :) I need new tires pronto..... The tire ID says 03 and these babies are all kinds of cracked on the sidewall and have flatspots in em from sitting in one spot.

Likely lack of training.

Very true..... I had to get refamiliarized to at after being off of two wheels for so long... and cruisers are a different monster from dirtbikes and sportbikes.

Bought some Moose Racing dirtbike bars at my local shop and deleted the front turn signals. I love the way the bars feel. So much more comfortable and they give the bike a whole new look!

Oooo no front turn lights... makes for a clean look, but, I like those coming at me to have no doubt I'm turning. I am about to order the same style handlebars minus the top bar - did you have any issues with cable length on the grips?

Bike is looking good with the back chrome blacked out :rawk:

I like the bars. Looks like a good fit for the cables too as there is less pullback than the OEM bars.

Great job and nice look! If I won't be able to sell my geezer this winter, i'll do the same. It's illegal here to take away turn signals. Rosco, are the bars wider than stock? Take care!

Bars are wider, Id say about 2 or 3 inches wider.... makes for a lower more agressive feel when riding..... alot less elbow bend. Feels better in traffic. The cables all went back without a problem. Only thing I noticed is kinda off is that the reseviour for the brakes on the bars doesnt sit flush anymore..... no biggy unless you have to refill. Turn signals will be replaced with small amber leds later.... but here in MS it doesnt really matter. Next on the list is cutting down the rear fender and painting the lower part of the front forks satin black.

Does that tatoo wrap around and flame down onto your hand? That's some serious ink.

Top of my wrist and I have a prayer on my hands and my Navy rate (job signature) on the backside of my forearm.....and a few others. :)

Rosco86, your friends may secretly envy you for your choice of bike. It may not be as fast but a GZ can be modded so much easier and the overall cost is much less. You get to tinker and let your imagination run full tilt but the sporty bikes are hard to mod without big bucks and professional help.

Ya man I hear ya.... My buddy Dustin with the Red Bull Kawasaki above recently sold it and bought an 06 R6 Raven edition.... but now hes talking about getting a small cruiser. I love my little toy. Smallest bike Ive ever owned but right up there with the most fun..... and it helps because its so damn reliable. My old Katana and R1 were a pain in the rear.

What size is your new front tire (sorry if posted and I missed it). Read up on the mods, esp. the needle adjustment on the carb. If it hasn't been done- makes all the difference in the world!! :2tup: The bike looks great

Front tire is stock size... 110/90/16 just a different brand.... I went with a shinko. And Ill have to read up on the needle adjustment.
