Hello, I'm new and have been looking around the forum since I got my 2001 GZ250 a month ago. I am sorry if this has already been addressed in another thread but I swear I looked just about everywhere before posting. I am looking for a sissy bar but don't really like the standard one that is specifically designed for the GZ250. I read that the Suzuki C90 can fit after drilling a couple of holes and would like if someone can confirm that and/or give me some other information about it. Thank you!

Welcome.I had one on mine.I just had to drill two different front holes on the mounting plates.Install the side bars & back pad last.

Thank you so much for the fast reply and welcome. This is the one I am looking at:

It is just confusing because the pictures aren't the real product and I just don't want to buy the wrong one. Would you happen to know if there are any different styles that might not fit? Thanks again!

I'm not sure.I bought mine second hand. The back rest pad is totaly different than the one that is pictured on mine. But that is probably a newer model.

The mounting arms on the pictured backrest would fit on a lot wider bike. The 90 series Suzuki is a much larger bike with very different dimensions.

Sorry I didn't catch that it was for the 90 series the first time around.Mine was off a 800 Bolivard.

I just mounted one on my 99 and all it took was drilling an addditional hole in each mounting rail. The width was perfect. It is off a early to mid 80s GS 650 .
