I might be wrong but the bracket at the bottom of the picture (which is really the top of the bar) looks wrong. I just installed a Barons Engine Guard (crash bar) and there was only one hole for mounting in the spot where the horn goes. There was one smaller hole for re-locating the horn but that was all. Also, I am really happy with the quality and the fit of the Barons. Everything mounted up fine. My GZ is a 1999.

I agree. At the top mounting position there should be two holes - one below the other - one for fixing the bars to the bike, and one (threaded) for relocating the horn.

Yeah i thought so also, that's why i sent them an email, to explain me that fact...

This might be mounting lower than horn mounting hole, just like in my engine guard taken from chinesse bikes. I had to improve mounting a little to match frame :)

I thought so... Does it work good in case of accident? Kind of weak, if you ask me...
They didn't respond to my mail...

Yes, looks kind of weak to me also. I reckon the only way to go is with one that fits the bike 100%. :)

I wouldn't feel comfortable with that mount but that's just my opinion. To each his own.

you can pick up bike by my guard, but for sure mounting could be better

Too bad they won't fit a GZ250.

I posted it, because GZ 125 is very similiar to GZ 250 and the price was good. :)

It's all good. We have a couple members in the U.K. with a 125. Might help them a bit.
