I haven't been a frequent poster here but wanted to let SoCal viewers know I'm selling my 2009 GZ250 for $3100 cash. Sorry, I have no way to transport. Deal will be done for us with my AAA service in Camarillo. AAA will collect sales tax and fees from you, cash or check.
The ad will go on CraigsList in the next day or so, Ventura area. Its a black 2009, completely stock, made for CA model, except for 2 piezo speakers to remind me to turn off the signals. Mileage today is 1912 miles, and I got it used with less than 200 miles and followed the break-in rules. I haven't abused the engine and changed the oil on time. Never took it on the freeway. I've ridden around town and backroads to neighboring towns. The sale will include saddle bags I installed and a Trackside rear paddock stand for easy maintenance. No dings or scratches.
Why selling? I've been riding a sidecar outfit for a few years and wanted to try my hand with a 2 wheeler. I also thought I might put a car on the GZ, but realized it just doesn't have the power to pull my 200#s plus the car at 55 mph against a headwind. I'll stick with my 3 wheeler, Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan with Velorex, and just be easy on the throttle.
I'll check back for forum comments or email to lenkf-at-dock-dot-net
