anyone know the horsepower & torque for a 2009 GZ 250? I am having a difficult time locating those numbers...thanks

Hi there.
I think "low" & "not very much" will fit the bill until someone comes up with accurate figures. :crackup

Google is your friend.
20 HP at 8000rpm., 19Nm or 14 lb-ft of torque at 7000rpm.

That is 229 % more than my 1st bike.

I understood it was closer to 18 hp.

thanks for the responses...still contemplating a GZ to replace my Genuine Buddy scooter for local riding...

18 hp & 14 ft-lbs torque is okay...had my 2009 Yamaha V Star 650 dyno'd & results @ rear wheel are 33.2 hp & 33.9 ft-lbs torque (3600 miles, dino oil, dino gear oil, shaft drive)

My V-Star 650 has all I need for the type of riding I do. She'll run with the big boys at 65 mph and is great handling around town. I love this bike. :2tup:
