I have been lurking here for a few weeks, love the wealth of info.

Bought my first motorcycle today, 2008 GZ250.

Going to use it as a daily driver, weather permitting.

Can't wait to begin work on an ammo can project.

Congrats and welcome! Make sure you get some good gear, including some waterproof gear, and you'll be all set for the weather. Lockable luggage definitely makes all the difference in a daily driver. I put a cheap trunk on the back and found it very useful.

Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. Since this is your first bike I'd recommend you take the MSF BRC (Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course). It's the best investment in your safety you can make. Ride safe.

We have ABATE if Indiana, have signed up for the Basic Rider Course. Thanks for the tip though.

I have been loving my GZ, did my first commute yesterday.

I regret not having gotten a bike years ago.

Likewise, I was getting 17.5 in my F150, one of the reasons I got my GZ
