I need to get a copy of the key and I was just wondering if our key had a chip in it. I'm assuming it doesn't but wanted to be sure. Our local hardware store doesn't have the blank needed so I need to buy one... any ideas on where I can get one?

Only place I've found so far is ebay:

i don't think there is any chip. ask or call your local dealer and they would suggest something. I never had mc key made so i have no idea.

Most locksmiths will have the proper blank to make a copy. Dealers themselves may have a blank but you still have to have it cut at a locksmith. Most dealers will charge more for a blank than a locksmith will for a key cut from his own stock.
