The other day i was riding along having fun all by myself as usual. A guy in a car infront of me was driving so slow for blocks on a one way street. It was driving me insane and i became impatient, (not good to get impatient on a bike). So, im following behind him slowly as i see him pull to the left side of the rode as if he was going to double park. He didnt put a signal on, just pulled to the left at a slower speed, so i thought here is my chance. I gave it more throttle when i had good room to pass him on his right. NOW, i always look thru the windows of a car infront of me to see up ahead, for some reason this time i didnt. So, i give more throttle and start to go around him and , HOLY SHIT A DOUBLE PARKED CAR. i breaked and swerved a bit. The car was about 15 ft infront of me that i almost rammed. Scared the shit out of me it came up so fast. So i learned not to be impatient on my bike, not a good thing.

Kinda gives you a wake up call doesn't it. Always expect the unexpected to occur. Ride Safe.

Yikes! Glad this was a close call and not a disaster. Good reflexes! Also a good lesson, that sometimes when people drive oddly, it's because there's something unexpected up ahead.

Glad you or the bike didn't get hurt. but that's a reminder never to drive past your vision. Important in passing (he moved over for a reason) and especially in curves when you can't see around the corner. And don't follow to closely, you have to be able to see what's lying in the road ahead.

Wow, glad you are OK and were able to make that need maneuver to keep from crashing. Thanks for sharing your lesson, may keep someone else from making the same mistake. Ride Safe!

Our town arguably has some of thE worst drivers in the world. Anyone driving uncharacterastically slow gets a wide berth. In fact I am so leery of the crazy things the average local driver can do I give them all plenty of room. If they happen to have their head locked immovable into a cell phone I know I can't trust them to look or signal before they cross my path.
