It's hard to get this thing new. I was lucky :). Works with GZ 125, GZ 250. Kappa k21 or Givi e21 hardbags.

I was looking for hard cases for mine, after a bit of searching I was given the advice that, hard cases are expensive and its difficult to get them in a classic look. Anything I could see had a modern plastic look.
I'd planned to get hard cases originally as I thought they'd be more secure (lockable) and permanently fixed plus I considered slightly more weather proof. I ended up going for a faux leather soft saddlebags.

Where did you get the brackets? is it through a Suzuki main dealer? or did you buy them online?
The cases look a lot less contemporary than any I saw of those makes.
Cheers.

I bought them on polish auction site allegro.pl.

Couple weeks ago i bought another kit for my girlfriend bike, but not new, not straight and not complete.
Here's auction I won: http://allegro.pl/stelaz-kufrow-bocznyc ... 85316.html (http://allegro.pl/stelaz-kufrow-bocznych-gz125-gz250-marauder-gz-125-i2159185316.html)

Original suzuki panniers are givi model e21 but givi logo is changed to suzuki logo.

EDIT: forgot to say - i paid 50$ for bracket set, and 130$ for kappa panniers. I'm very satisfied. One time heavy rain catch me on the road. I was all wet, but panniers were as dry as sahara inside.

Oh my that is nice. The bags compliment the bike. Also the top loading bags are better than side opening bags. Price wise I think you did well too.

Is there an overall part number for this item? I looked at the image which is the suzuki drawing you provided but cant see one?

I did a quick search on the allegro website, don't seem to be anymore, but its too long winded going back and forth to google translate to figure out what everything means, I presume its a Polish buy/sell website and the part (lateral trunk frame) you were looking for just happened to be available?

Also 89 Zlotys?? thats only €21 O_o good price.

it looks good.

Just Google Givi and see what comes up. Their website might make more sense.

Maybe someone who's selling a gz 125 would like to sell bracket set?

Those brackets are quire rare, it's just needed to wait.

That's a nice clean bike also, hmm maybe I will email them :skeptical: But, I know they exist now, and which case (givi) goes with them, I didn't before your post.
I will keep my eyes open for some, I have faux leather ones in the meantime.

Just Google Givi and see what comes up. Their website might make more sense.

I went to the givi website, they dont have the GZ listed, think I'll just have to trawl the web/google a bit more.

Hey, thanks for the advice, I have widened my search net to include EU wide. I found a few options and am making inquiries now, mostly the brackets look different but as long as the dimension is 175mm or so then I think they will fit.
The bike looks nice in that colour, mine is black. I haven't seen another GZ around till the other day out for a ride, then saw one the same colour like yours with two guys on it. When I saw your pictures first I assumed it was the 250, I'll have to post some pics.
Thanks again for the help.

Hello RYNR. Thats a very nice bike, I really like the color on the fender and tank. What is that color called, do you know ?

Those bags are also very nice.

My opinion - i might be wrong:

Those two bracket kits for gz are different because one version is for GZ 1998-2002 and second one is for GZ 2003-now.

GZ 2003 and newer have deeper turn signal lights, so hardbags are 1 or 2 centimetres to the front side of bike - that's beacause they have cut away to avoid contact with rear springs.

In manual picture there is part numer (Artikel Nr), but google doesn't show anything when type this number. In USA those brackets are unavaible. Best way to find it is searching german ebay (ebay.de) for something like "gz koffertrager" or just "gz tragger".

You can also get tons of different universal options, including givi-knock offs for a quarter of the price, on Ebay.
They're the Chinese stuff. But man are they handy and awesome if you get a good batch of plastic.

I don't know if they're avaiable in US. Propably they aren't. Even in Europe they quite rare.

EDITI-12F00-030 that's the number from manual and the only I've got.

There are two types of GZ125/250 hardbag brackets for different turn signal lights types.

Here' set for GZ 2003-2010 with deeper turn signal lights
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Seitenkoffer-Tra ... 53ea264ed9 (http://www.ebay.de/itm/Seitenkoffer-Trager-bracket-Suzuki-125-250-Marauder-ab-Baujahr-1998-/360410664665?pt=Motorrad_Kraftradteile&hash=item53ea264ed9)

As you can see in the picture they have a cutaway for rear springs because they're move about 1-2 cm to the front from older brackets

That's my opinion. The newer ones should fit every GZ, and with older ones you need older turn signal lights.

I got a set of the givi boxes online
and a suzuki mounting frame, hopefully replace my old faux leather panniers soon, which are already falling apart.
I will try salvage them and probably pop rivet some aluminium sheet to support them, if that works I'll try sell them off.

Hey rynr
Are you able to attach and remove your givi cases or did you have to fix them permanantly?

rynr
12-08-2012, 06:47 PM
Givi e21 can be attached/removed in a few seconds. There is 3-position lock: 1- locked, 2- ready to attach/detach 3- open. You just can turn lock to position two and push big red button :)

They are the boxes I got,

What I was meaning was,

The frame you showed in the first post, the components (trager) that holds the boxes

Does that allow the givi boxes to attach and detach to it?

Do you have a picture of the side of your bike with the givi box removed?
