I've had very negitive experiences with "Never-Start" batteries from Wal Mart. They are junk IMO. I always have purchased Yuasa sealed batteries if possible. I also properly maintain all my batteries via a Battery Tender in the off season. Battery Tenders are the key to extended m/c battery life.

I got a DieHard from Wal Mart. Might be a Canadian thing. Yuasa have a good reputation everywhere.
Both bike batteries get a Tender feeding once a month during the off season. Cheap compared to a new battery every year or 2.

When I was working on electronic panels, in England, all the backup batteries were Yuasa. The company I worked for wouldn't use anything else.

Do not forget that most if not all the batteries in this size for motorcycles are AGM's and they MUST BE FULLY CHARGED BEFORE FIRST USE or they will prematurely fail. Do not buy one from anywhere and hook it up and start your bike without you personally charging it up - be warned, and do not rely on the guy in the store telling you it's good to go when you bring it home. If you do that, it may only last for a couple of starts or a month or so and then you will be back at the store trying to get a new one again.
