So will a champion plug work or do I need to go NGK? What difference will I notice?

NGK is probably the preferred plug. I have heard from a very reliable source that they are made of a metal or have a metal coating that is designed with an aluminum head in mind. They do not require thread ease or any other aftermarket products.

I always used champion in England. No problems. Just make sure you get a comparison chart, to get the right one.

Ive gone back an fourth between Champs and NGK's and what appears to be the case in my experiences is that they are both identical performing plugs, but the NGK's seem to have slightly longer electrode life.
