My bike is the only vehicle I have, and while I have gotten some winter gear to half way survive the cold, I need to be looking to Spring now as well since my situation will probably not change. What rain gear do you guys have or what would you suggest? I will probably also be looking for side bags that will fit and lock or can be made to lock to store the stuff in. Let me know, thanks again.

If you want raingear, go to a camping store, not a bike shop. MUCH cheaper, and usually good quality for campers/hikers. I got mine over ten years ago, and give it a spray of reproofer every year. Still as good as new. :2tup:

Look for rain gear in a workwear store. Make sure you get long enough pants so they don't pull up too much at the ankle when you sit on the bike.

I agree thar workwear stores have good stuff, but in my experience they're too heavy duty to be comfortable on a bike, and too bulky to roll up small enough to go in the saddlebags. Just my opinion. :)
