Our 200 had a problem with one of the pegs when we got it. I thought it was bent. But apparently the PO hit something with it and mangled the rubber on the inside and twisted it around. I got curious and cut the rubber off to see what was inside.

Now that something you don't get to see every day.

It looks tacky without that rubber.
I was looking for shorter pegs, as those sometimes hit the floor. Now I get my knee down to lean less the motorbike and I don't use to hit the pegs but my heels.

Its a big solid chunk of steel.

I don't think you want shorter pegs. If you catch the side of your boot sole on the pavement its not fun. I used too ride with my feet on the end of the pegs and caught the pavement in a sharp turn one day. It threw my foot into the saddle bag. I'd much rather drag a peg than slam my foot into the saddle bags.

You could always try entering the turn a little slower.

Yes, you're right. Better hitting the peg than our feet.
That's why I'll keep that solid chunks of steel. ;)
