yup, why squids? Cause they put a throttle on the minute they sat on the bike? Like squid when makes its fast move in water?

I read somewhere that it started at a SoCal track where the older riders would grumble about those, "squirrelly kids," and it evolved/shortened into "squids," but that was just a theory.
