In order to better organize "Meet-n-Greets" or "Group Rides", we've come up with an open Google Map that will allow you to update your location anywhere on the globe.
It's a great way to see who lives close to you, should you want to meet the weirdos that you talk to everyday. ;)
Follow this link : http://g.co/maps/mpw85
It's an open Google map that anyone can edit. (*But you have to have some kind of Google account to access it.)
Directions:
-Open the link
-Click "EDIT"
-Find your place
-Click on the little blue upside-down tear drop in the top left corner of the map.
-Drop it on your location and make a note of who you are in the little box that opens up.
[Use the top bar to name the location; ie, DALTON, GA.] [Use the bottom box to list your username]
-Click save. (Over near where the edit button was.)
-You're done.
I would only update your username, and don't put any personal information on there. This is a public map, after all.
If you peek over at the info bar on the left, you will see a list of all the locations and members that are already listed.
If you see your location has already been added, then simply add your username and you're good to go.
