Hey..... Had to take my missus to the local health centre, for 8 o'clock this morning, for a blood test. The sun wasn't up, & I had to switch the car heater on. Can't remember the last time I moved the knob away from "cold"

Today it was in the 70's in good ole Longs/Little River SC. Took an hour and a quarter ride just to relax. T-shirt, mesh jacket (no liner), blue jeans, work boots, gloves and full face helmet. Rode in the farm lands and was quite serene. Didn't go near the beach today as I didn't want to wade through the traffic from Christmas shoppers. C'mon down! Wearing shorts in December still amazes me. Of course we have long 90+ F, 90% humidity summers. It usually starts in May and ends in October. And don't forget mowing the lawn in December.

Just got back from coffee at StarBucks. 4 wheels of course cause I really am a wimp. 35 F in the sun. Surprised to see a flock of bikes from all over the south end of the province. Even scooters up from Vancouver.

I was able to do some riding this weekend here in Massachusetts. It helped that the temp was 50 and it was sunny! Next weekend doesn't look good though.

50 is about my limit. Maybe a little lower if I am willing to dress up in too many layers for comfort. It isn't the riding so much as being stopped for a while and overheating.

Yep, winter has come to North Carolina as well. It will only be 50 something for a high today. (sigh)[/quote:13qfw79s]

Well we made it up to the low 60's here today. My buddies are riding tonight (38F as I type) but I had an eye examination late this afternoon and my eyes are still messed up from the dialation or I would have gone. It would have been slightly cold. lol

I commuted yesterday morning and it was 28.

I just got a new helmet in the mail and a jacket and some flea market gloves...
Actually, I guess a new thread is in order showing off my PGR helmet and Duhan riding jacket.
