Hi all, just wanted to say hi, i did sign up already back in March, but as i di not have my Suuzi 250, didnt have much to talk along with :( Now i would have more questions im sure, o i hope you guys can help :D

Hi and welcome! I'd love to see a picture of the 2 GZ's together (125 and 250.) Do you notice a lot of difference between the two, other than, say, acceleration and top speed? Just curious.

The only way to tell a 125 from a 250 is that the 125 has only one exhaust, & the front sprocket cover is slightly different. Other than that, they look the same. :)

I think the cooling fins are bigger on the 125 too.

The spark plug also comes out the right side if the cylinder so that is another difference.

So it's a completely different head, mated onto the same gear box and the same frame. I would bet, aside from the exhaust and maybe some electrics, all other parts would be crossover.

Never noticed that on the ones over here. Might have been a change of spec - or just my failing eyesight! :cry:

I think anyone with a wrecked 250 donor bike could convert the 125 into a 250 with some planning and a box of tools.
Doing a cylinder/head swap would be easy enough too I think. The cam chain might be longer/shorter but that would be swapped out too.
