Hi all

Day before yesterday my GZ was on reserve and I thought lets finish whatever is in there and I will fill up at the end of the day to have maximum fresh gas (never done before and will never do again). Unfortunately it stopped earlier than I thought but there was still some gas and I tilted the bike to drive the last mile as the gas station was near. Everything was ok and I came back home. Next morning when I started the bike I see was fumes of burning oil as after a while a drop of oil appears on the connector that holds the exhaust to the head. It starts ok and still running but I am not sure if its oil or gas? Is this something because of tilting the bike (oil or gas moved in the engine)? Is it serious for engine damage or is it a leak that just conincided with this and needs repair and what needs to be repaired? The black spots on the head (the gooey stuff) is old and it is there from a long time. Picture attached.

This is not related to this incident. A see some oil accumulation near the clutch where it is attached to the engine. What do I need to change for this? Picture attached.

GZ250, 32K miles. Never had any oil leak problem before.

Thanks for the help

Well, the first thing to do with 32K on the bike is tighten up the bolts and nuts around where you see oil leaking and see if they have backed themselves out a little bit. It's my guess that they have.

Either way, it doesn't look like a serious problem. @32k, you're lucky you haven't sprung a leak before now. It's what motorcycles do. ;)
