current mileage : 31400 km
highest attained speed 135 k/hr ( 84 mph )
best economy : 160 k / 5 litres ( 90 mpg )
avg economy 85 mpg
avg max speed 125 k/hr ( 78 mph )
typical cruising speed 90-100 k/hr ( 56-62.5 m/hr )
short burst cruising speed ( 40 k distance ) 100 - 110 k/hr
riding style : aggressive
max road trip : 300 km over 4.5 hrs @ 90-100 k/hr
maintenance : as scheduled in hand book
repairs : replaced rear tire @ 24000 kms , front in spring @ 31400 kms due to aging cracks on side wall
2 oil filters and 4 spark plugs
2 sets of brake pads
accesories : road chrome wind shield , ktm saddle bags , leather tail bag , tachometer , gel seat cushion , custom suede hand grips
mods : carburetor use 1/8 choke for variable weather conditions to richen mixture no flat spots stronger performance
4 1/4 in holes inner ring of exhaust
1/2 inch hole in diverter of air intake
summary : I am 5 ' 6 " and 165 lbs and the bike fits like a glove. I can ride for 3 hrs no discomfort. I smile all the time
when I ride. The bike pulls up grades at 120 k/hr and always reaches 110 k/hr regardless of wind. When shifted at 7000 rpm it pulls respectably enough to be fun.
