Hello! I am looking for a used, inexpensive front fender for my 2007 black GZ250. Also looking for a choke lever and the black plastic rear turn signal mount (under the rear fender).

Let me know if anyone has these parts inexpensively - trying to fix my bike without insurance help.

Thanks,

Don in California

I had a lady back into me once in a parking lot and damage my front fender. I spent a long time looking for a good cheap replacement, but eventually just had to settle and get one through Ronayers for $150.

That's not a bad price, considering that you'll see them on Ebay from time-to-time for around $75 or so.

There are a couple of folks parting out whole bikes. Check with them as well.

Thanks for that helpful piece of advice - If I don't find one soon - I will certainly look into that source. Since all money is out of pocket, I'm trying to find them as inexpensive as possible first. I am finding most of the other parts used which really helps.
I bought another bike - a Harley Sportster to ride while I fix this one up, so patience is on my side. I had a boulder roll off the mountain onto the road on a corner and that's why my bike is needing some parts!

O_o A boulder...

That's crazy! Gald you aren't the one looking for spare body parts.

Funny! I kept thinking - oh this is going to hurt! Then I flew a few feet and bounced up thinking - that didn't hurt so bad! That was 3 months ago - my wrist is still healing! Took a while for the shock to wear off and the pain to start. It also took a months for my nuts to get over being purple from the dent it left in the tank!
I could have gone around it, if it hadn't been for a car coming the other way at just the wrong moment! You only pass 1 car every 5 mins on that mountain road and that car timed it just right to take away my exit path. So I hit at about 35mph and came to a very sudden stop! I was amazed that despite the damage to everything - I rode it down off the mountain - handle bars pointing left, wheel pointing right, tank leaking, blinkers hanging down by the wires! If was some experience for sure!! I have since ridden the Harley past that point of impact and gotten weird feelings looking at that boulder on the side of the road. Almost wanted to go up with my truck and pick it up and bring it home as a constant reminder of the hidden dangers of riding and to be on the constant lookout for unexpected hazards - not all come from cars!

....that's one of the best crash stories I think I've heard.

Glad your nuts are alright.

Just glad it was one I could not only walk away from, but somewhat ride away from! I got 2 months use out of my new custom paint before it got trashed - well now to come up with a better paint design! I have a cool 2 tone design in mind I want to try! I'm pretty creative with designs and colors.
