Welcome to Gz250bike.com! :2tup:

Do you live in Chile currently, or were you just born there and currently live in the US?

Helping you find factory accessories will vary, depending on where you are located.

Hello jonathan180iq, i was born in Chile, never been at U.S.A, anyway i´m a big fun of your country. Sorry for my inglish, i must recognize that i´m out of practice. I do my best.
So... i called to Spaan (in Spain) and they e-mail me back, telling me that, they don´t send products to Southamérica, that´s why i´m asking for help in this forum.

Hi there. That's a shame. I'm in Tenerife, & all my accessories are Spaan. You'll notice in their brochure that they sell an Americen licence plate holder, so I'm guessing that there must be dealers in North America. Can anyone confirm that? :)

Bienvenido Pola.

That's a negative, as far as I can tell.

Everything comes from Europe. I can only find their parts via UK sites or linked .com sites with prices in Euros.

Hi, thanks for the welcome. The company that bought the bike tells me not to bring accessories. I have not asked in motorcycle suzuki chile, maybe there is my mistake. Upload a photo as soon as possible.
E-bay is an option, but I do not trust the product arrives. Internet goes a long way.
As for the Spanish site of "maruderos", also wrote and they said you should look for an importer here in Chile.
Anyway, today I answered from a UK company, and it looks like I'll be lucky.
Please write in English, the translator of google clarify my doubts. And will also continue to learn, anyway thanks to all who wrote in Spanish.
Thank you all, and I forget a detail, I am a "she". :)

The best thing you can do is to find a local retailer, even if they have to order parts. Also, you are not limited to only the Suzuki specific accessories. There are several "universal" options that will fit. (rear rack, saddlebag supports, sissy bar, grips, floorboards, etc.)

Anything that we find here will be expensive to ship or deliver to you.
Also, let us know how your search goes, so if anyone else comes along in the future we will know where to point them.

Hi, Mavrix, thank's for the welcome, my bike is Black, and named "La Nonna" :)
Thanks for the tip Savrip.
I want to share with you the response I received from Suzuki Chile...
Suzuki Chile: "we work only with U.S. imports. We look at Suzuki USA, which are those that have original accessories and accessories do not make you ask us, so we are in the same situation".

Someone of you I can verify if the information given by Suzuki Chile is true?

Suzuki USA doesn't have for sale the original accesories for the motorcycles they sales in your country?, i found that hard to believe.
Thank's for your comments.

Of course they have original accessories.

Those guys are lying or they aren't asking the right questions.

They probably have to be requested form the factory, as most places don't hold them in stock. But it is easy to get them. However, please remember that factory accessories are grossly overprices and many universal or aftermarket accessories work just as well.

Maybe tell us exactly what you are looking for and we can find you a respectable replacement.

What's that in English? It's not a word I recognize, and I can't find it in my Spanish/English dictionary. :)

... can't find it in my Spanish/English dictionary. :)
It does exist in Italian though.

Oh my, a pretty lady on a motorcycle. Doesn't get much better than that. Glad to see you know how to dress for safety Pola. Take care of Grandma and she will take care of you.
And if you would please post some pics of your home and let the rest of the world share some of your scenic rides.

Hello again, thanks for the compliment Water Warrior  I'll upload photos of tourist routes I do, so you can see some of my country. Tomorrow I'll route because it is raining on Saturday.
I got lucky with an importer of accessories for motorcycles in Chile. www.dosruedas.cl (http://www.dosruedas.cl) the company is called, apparently, after all, "Nonna" will have its accessories.
Thanks everyone for the advice. :rawk:

Stands to reason there would be an importer in Chile. The trick is to find them.

Pola

Water Warrior,To me it was also logical to find accessories in my country, but unfortunately, nothing is as it seems. This is how I was phoning from many suppliers of accessories Suzuki in Santiago and had no luck.
Until by chance I found this importer who saved my day.
Upload photos as soon as possible, it did not route the weekend it rained. Driving in the rain is not very safe to say.
Greetings from Chile.

Hi, I want to tell with great pleasure that I have received email from Spain (SPAAN), they have had problems with the server, which sends some wrong answers to the contacts. With great joy I tell you this, they ship to anywhere in Chile.

The most impressive is that I get to a lower value compared to the importer in Chile. :jawdrop:

This is why I decided to bring them from Spain. I tell you this, if you have difficulties with accessories or parts in your country, Spaan is an excellent alternative.
Greetings from Chile, a friend... :2tup:
