Wow, just experienced my longest x-country (so far) riding from Abbotsford down to Arlington, Washinton for the EAA Fly-in, yesterday.
160 miles round trip, 4 hours on the road, carving turns through one of the most interesting bike routes in these parts.
Got precious few photos along the way since most of the road has no shoulder to pull over onto.
I'll have to rig up a camera I can reach while riding, like Water Warrior's.
There are almost no straight sections and no traffic congestion, just lots of turns, a couple of lakes, several rivers, and scenery for miles.

Typical pastoral countryside nestled in the mountains.

We live in a rainforest climate so everything is green.

And another lake.

And, of course, the air show!

Awesome pics. Glad you had a great time and shared your day. I think the bike was all in favor of travelling those country roads.

My GZ LOVED it! Speed limit was 50 or less, and honestly, unless you were riding a sport bike you couldn't negotiate the route any faster. I caught up with a group riding HD's and although they booted away from the turns real fast, I caught up with them at the next set of twisties. It got kind of annoying, actually; glad they stopped for gas after 10 minutes.
This is one of those roads where the sign says 'corner ahead, slow to 20' and you better pay attention!
